He got it for a good price for sure. Funny thing is, earlier this year I traded away a blue bisley vaquero with Fishpaw grips that was consecutive to this one that I almost never shot.

The only "issue" for me with this gun is that it's set up for one load... and probably not one I'd want to shoot too often. That being said, in a recent thread it was mentioned that a person would be money ahead to purchase a pre-existing custom and modify it to their liking. I don't know the cost of an adjustable rear sight mod, or a dovetail front with something like a 2 Dogs insert, but I'd bet you'd still be way under what it currently costs to get John to build you a new one- even with adding in the cost of modification.

This might have been obvious to everyone else, but CCH guns aren't candidates for the insert. I wondered why my Dustin gun didn't get his trademark insert and that would be why.
