Congratulations. I've never seen one of those in person. Looking forward to the range report.

Very nice!
Looks like it belongs in an Old West "parlor".
What's it chambered in?

DANG! That is the only other USFA gun I have wanted to add to my meager USFA family! Congratulations on snagging a rare one.

Congratulations. I've never seen one of those in person. Looking forward to the range report. EVERY TIME I SEE A USFA SIXGUN LIKE THIS I DROP TEARS ON MY KEYBOARD THINKING WHAT USFA COULD HAVE DONE INSTEAD OF CLOSING THEIR DOORS.

Wrong question, what is the piece of furniture the gun is sitting on? I can see it's maple but can't tell what the piece is sir.

In the words of Jeff Dunham's "Bubba Jay".... Om-nip-o-tent, My wife called me that once and said there was a little blue pill to help. LOL! Just kidding. That is some kind of awesome revolver! Thanks for the pics and writeup!

Looks like a spalted maple table top. I used spalted maple for some charcuterie trays I made this last Christmas. Maple that has started to "rot" then the process is arrested and the wood dried for use. I trimmed out a house for a client one year who had cut a bunch of spalted maples off his property then had it dried and I planed and worked it until I could do all the window trim , door trim and baseboard material out of it. Very striking to say the least.

This one is a charcuterie tray I made last year. Made is a term used loosely- remove the loose bits around the natural edge, cut straight and square what needs it, sand, finish, and install handles. Not exactly hardcore woodworking, but it's a useful piece.

All I envision are grip panels. Nice USFA too!
