And Yet another Gentleman who understated his abilities when he told me that he was just a little Handy. LOL! Great Job man! This is how its done brother. You followed curves right and slicked her right on up. I love the concept as well. Mean litlle critter this one will be be. Now im gonna have to make me one just like this. Hahahaha. I bet shes a handfull. By the way if you ever want to move to Texas. YOUR HIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done Adam, well done Ronnie Thanks for posting the pictures for me! I like how it turned out, and believe it or not, I shot some 310 grain ears running around 1150 today and this grip makes it manageable. I have a large frame Vaquero set up like that with the K Bird grip frame and I think is quite comfortable over the original bird frame grip which was a little more tolerable than hitting your hand with a ball peen hammer. That is the perfect hold out gun to use just before the Sasquach abducts you. đ

I got a Bisley brass frame from Ronnie for my 1977 Blackhawk 45 cal revolver. I was so excited to get to work on it. I went out and bought special sandpaper for sanding cars, new files, dowel rods and even went to my buddies workplace to get some soft sanding 70 inch belts. Got home today, took the weapon apart and it is a no fitting bolt on to my frame. Just the top of the frame "ears" need to be lowered about 1/16th of an inch. Thats it. It will take me longer to profile the grips to my hand than it will to fit the grip frame to the weapon. I am impressed. I cant even catch a fingernail between the grip frame and the revolver frame on any side of it. Slicker than snot on a doorknob. Good job buddy!!

Thatâs exciting that it fit so well, âcause Iâm waiting on one of my Ronnieâs brass frames for my long barreled .45 Blackhawk too. Although itâs not a Bisley frame - I asked for the moon with all the trimmings, an XR3 with an added bottom extension. I am hopeful that I will have it in hand soonâŚ

Aloha, I am in the process of purchasing a couple ROAâs (5.5â bbl, fixed sights, Stainless) and am VERY interested in getting the Merwin Bisley frame a try out! I am however, having difficulty selecting the correct hammer and trigger to go with this Merwin Bisley grip. I am thinking this will fit the bill: I have reached out to Ronnie as well. ~WillyD

Oh that little birds head project shows pictures of the rear sight. It looks to have light bars in the rear blade. Just wondering where that sight came from?

This will probably sound silly, but do any of these grip frames work on Ruger Wrangler or Super Wranglers?

Another addition to the collection. I wanted something for the grandkids' smaller hands and after talking to Ronnie on the phone, I ordered an aluminum Kaytod, added a Powers Bisley hammer/Vaquero trigger kit, and mangled some unknown wood blocks sitting around the garage. I thinned the top of the panels to make them a little smaller in diameter for younger hands but I still have plenty of room to get a good grip with my larger hands. Pete

Pete Nicely done, I personally like the look of the top of the panel being seamless and flush with the grip frame and cylinder frame! Takes some doing though (especially on a blued frame). Youâve pulled it off with panache đđ˝
