I am getting decent accuracy in my 25-5 using the Montana Bullet Works 250 gr. Keith Style SWC sized .454 over 9.0 gr. of Universal.

I have a Model 25-2 I bought for Bullseye shooting. Like all of you, my gun had .456 throats and would not shoot well. I sent my revolver back to Smith & Wesson and had a new cylinder with .452 throats installed. Cost me $250 but it is worth it to me, the gun is very accurate now. The only problem is the new cylinder is made of stainless steel and the rest of my gun is blue. I tell everyone the is my "Pinto" gun and they think it is very cool. This is one of my favorite all-time guns. I shoot both .45 AR and ACP brass with clips. It is a real shooter!!!
