Shoot Bob, buy a $1500 USFA 38/357 and send it to Alan to rechamber and rebarrel like I did. theoddduckgunshop on GB has a USFA blued 38 Special cowboy for sale right now for $1550 that would be a perfect candidate!

Thats a very nice pair of single actions. The grips are truely amazing and when compared side by side the CCH hammer makes the Colt look plain jane, also a big fan of the beveled cylinders.

Was going to go the USFA or Colt base gun but when I ran upon that Uberti Cattleman for only $365 I just went that route with Jack Huntington instead... And I do have the Clements USFA Shooting Master in .41 Special so I am pretty well covered .41 Special wise... Bob

The Colt is a 1967 gen 2 worked over by Hamilton Bowen (lives a half hour from here). The cylinder bores were, as usual, over sized and I had him re-bore a cylinder he had laying around, and they worked the action over. It is the best shooting SA I've ever picked up. The USFA is bone stock except for the grips. Rob Rowen did them, French walnut on the USFA, American on the Colt.

Why oh why did you have to post this! I have a 3rd gen 44 special collecting dust. To have Mr. Harton rebarrel and rechamber ( build a cylinder) to 41 special would be the cat’s meow!

Top is a USFA in 44 Special. Something must have happened while posting. I meant to comment about how beautiful both those revolvers are.
