Someone loved this gun. This is a Harrington & Richardson .38 Safety Hammerless (1st model) made in 1904. It has been very professionally refinished. The bore and chambers are in excellent condition, and the trigger is light and glass-smooth; I suspect it had a good trigger job. This is not the kind of care you typically see lavished on an 'economy' gun. Yep, someone loved this gun... and now I do too.

That's probably the oldest nickeled gun I've seen that wasn't all flakey in front of the cylinder. Nice score!
