Ordered a early Christmas present today, and cant wait until it arrives. After much research of the 41 mag I needed to add one to my collection. Searching online for a 41 mag revolvers, I saw this S&W was listed on buds and had to get it www.budsgunshop.com/mobile/product/57825/redirect

Think Kyle will really enjoy this one too. He loads GT Bullets often and will be a great choice on this one too.
Glad to see him venture into the world of Classic DA Revolvers.
I'll be eagerly waiting on a range report...

Thank you..Looking at the 225 grain GT bullets for the M57. I have a 410 GNR on a redhawk which is one of my favorite revolvers, but this will be my very first 41 magnum and my third S&W

Those are fine revolvers and an excellent choice in caliber. Congrats on your "present".

.410...Oooooo.... The gun in my Avitar is a 5-shot Reeder custom .41/.41 GNR. Gary said no problem punching it out to .410 since it is a 5-shot not a 6....
How long is your barrel and what are using for loads...
Thanks...Bob

Very accurate but I don't shoot it or reload for it as much as I'd like

Great choice, the model 57 is about as good as it gets. Many great bullets to choose from along with many different powders, you will love it.

The 41 is a better cartridge for the N-frame then the 44... and accurate

If it shoots anything like my 586 Classic you are going to be extremely happy. I know everyone's new revolver is a "tac driver" but these things are pretty unbelievable in the accuracy department. Fit and finish on mine is superb. I've actually been eyeballing a M57 at my lgs... so many guns so little cash.

I picked up the Smith this morning...004 cylinder gap, and lock up is like a bank vault the same as my 500 S&W which is perfect. Fit and finish is incredible. Glad I got it, plan to shoot it as much as I can A true classic, time to reload

Pictures of this revolver are great. Throats of about .411" look perfect too. Looks like Kyle has added another beauty and likely a shooter.
