Those guns were produced in the low hundreds. 200ish if I remember correctly. I wouldn't hesitate paying a grand for one.

Apparently,if the dad decides to NOT press charges. My LGS owns it and reserves the right to sell it. I am first in line if that happens.I am not sure about the laws covering this mess in Missouri but the LGS has been in business for 42 years so if that comes about I will take their word for it,fill out the paper and hand them my cash, and daddy can just beat the shit out of his idiotic offspring.

over on the Rossi 92 board they say that 100 of the 480s were all that were made...……….accordingly I have captured 2% of the market !! : )

sorry for the sidetrack, but has anyone ever looked at a Big Horn Armory 475 Linebaugh??? thinking they could be a real nice 480 Ruger, as the "special" cartridge... they are spendy starting at $3600.00 but they are likely a much more durable & refined product than a Rossi... & there are lots of options...
