I laid hands on a Rossi 480 Ruger. Gun basically is clean other than some scratches on the magazine tube and some clown painted the stock black.I don't know how to operate GunBroker for history. What are these things bringing?

dmize, I can't tell you what they are bringing. I don't follow them closely, but I do have one. Fun to shot.
To get to historical info on GB, sign in to your account, find the advanced search header (next to search usually) and hit it. Choose "completed items", then type your search words. I found none this morning.
There are guys who follow them on here so maybe someone will chime in. Tim

I've been following them because I've always wanted one; but every-time I've had the opportunity, it's always been out of my price range.
As Prineout said, I was able to find one stainless one that sold on 9/18/2019 by searching Puma 480, it sold for $881. I might have been in the running for it if I saw this at that price.

If you decide not to buy it... I'd be happy to at that price... if you don't like the wood, replacements should be available...

Hoping not to sidetrack too much but do you guys think the 454 & 480 would use the same wood??? I had Boydes sight up for my 1895 Marlin, & entered in the data, wood ( stock & forend ) are available for the Rossi 92 in 454... I would think that would be the same for the 480... but it may be possible the tube magazine is larger diameter & the forend may need fitting for the 480???

I have two of them that I got a some time ago....if you check completed sales, you will see that 480s in very nice condition routinely go for well above 1000$ and sometimes nearly twice that [ which is stupid in my opinion] they really shoot well, and a lot o fun to use

Well this adventure came to an odd and abrupt end. Went to buy the rifle today and found out it belonged to the dad of the person that they bought it from and Dad didn't know he sold it. Cops are involved and its a big mess
