A wonderful vacation. Very nice pics. Made similar trip in mid-80's. I did not get a pic of that elusive license plate though !

If we can work it out next year, I plan on doing a similar trip. I want to fly in to Montana and out of Wyoming. We shall see.

Just above Kim's left shoulder is what the early trappers called Sheep Point, according to Osborne Russell, one of the early trappers that helped build Fort Hall & spent 9 years in & around this country this Point was covered with Rocky Mountain Big Horn Sheep. Also, if Kim were to raise his six gun barrel just a bit & shoot over the ridge line above the river he might hit an immigrant burial ground.
This was the old Oregon Trail & the Indians had killed several people from a wagon train & they are buried on that bluff just above the river where Kim is shooting. The graves are boxed in by a pole fence. In the town cemetery there is a grave with several people buried in a wagon box. It's called the Wagon Box grave site. Again it was a fight with local Indians with a wagon train coming along the Oregon Trail. The wagon box made a convenient casket!

I’ve been there a few times with Dick myself. Kind of miss the fun now.
