It's looking like early 2020 - a six-shot .357 and .44 Mag. I can wait for that. Thanks!

You might could get their Precision Center to do a .357Max, but their long frames are overkill for that IMO & I doubt they'd do a mid length frame.

There is enough cylinder that in a max you could shoot some very heavy 357 bullets.

To me, the lower line of the Main Frame screams BFR - so I have to wonder if he's got Magnum Research doing the casting. If so, Gary may have exclusive rights to that mid-size. But there IS a Max frame out there besides the Ruger.

It they are not going to do battle with Ruger (and I'm sure the reasons why could be many) how about a "Ruger custom shop"? You can't hope to customize/accurize a Ruger Blackhawk for the small premium a BFR demands. A bit of a hole in the market.
Like most everything about the BFR except the frame size.

Like most everything about the BFR except the frame size. Ed, that frame size is what allows them to digest heavy loads in big calibers without so much as a hiccup. It didn’t take me long to turn my Ruger Bisley in .454 into a loose clap trap. That little extra bulk also does wonders in mitigating debilitating recoil.

I actually like the BFR better than the FA83. Granted, I don't own one smaller than a 475 Linebaugh.
Currently I own the 475 Linebaugh PC, 45-70, 500 JRH/50 AE 5.5" and 500 JRH/50 AE 7.5".
The 357 Magnum sounds awesome to me for a base gun. Loving the old ones like I do, it could easily be rechambered to 38-40 or 44-40. Slap on a new barrel and front sight for a very strong retro caliber.
But honestly, I've never met a BFR that I didn't like.

I was thinking someone had one in 22 Hornet. Thought they were custom though. Wasn’t sure if this was it or not.
