would these bullets work in a 500 JRH

or would they likely not chamber because of the extra wide flat nose??? Sorry was thinking 480 for a second ( if you saw my 1st "unedited" post )... this would be in a BFR seems to have pretty tight chambers

They work!

I shoot those exact ones out of my BFR. 

I had to make a request to RCBS to make me a special seater plug to handle the 90% metplat.

Would depend more on the cylinder throats and overall length after loaded. If bullets are correct size the chambering shouldn't be affected. Would definitely seat and crimp separately.

Great bullet that I've used for sometime in the 500 JRH, 500 Wyoming Express and the 50 Action Express. Will work in the 500 S&W but I prefer a heavier in that caliber.
