I remember the topic of a .45ACP levergun came up often over on Paco Kelly's forum when I was a regular there. IIRC the general consensus was it was a lot of work for minimal gain. It would be useful if you were trying to limit the calibers you keep on hand but if you were looking for a significant performance boost like you get by putting .357 in a carbine, it just wasn't there. I sorta still want one though...

I would love a .480 but it may be a while. Clements isn’t doing rifle barrels right now
