I have noticed the pics from Photobucket seem to be fuzzy and deliberately blurred out, you can sort of make out the picture but not in any detail.
Am I the only one seeing this or is this some new Photobucket BS? Any known cures?

I think its more Photobucket manipulation. At one point, when I clicked the blurred photo, it took me to the Photobucket site, where the pictures are in focus and can be viewed, but there is all kinds of annoying advertisements along with it. At least that's how it worked for me. However, now the click didn't seem to do anything. Imgur is far better than Photobucket for posting pictures.

+1...I ditched Photobucket long ago for Imgur with zero regrets. 100x better hosting site IMO.

Been receiving junk mail from Photobucket with warnings that my content will be lost if I don't pay a fee.
They tried that before.

Google Photos is also free and unlimited. Once you set up a Google/GMail account, you can upload photos at photos.google.com. They're automatically there if taken with your smart phone, at least with my Android. Pretty sure Google Photos is also available in iOS (Apple). Then, with photo open, select "copy image address." Then paste that in the "Image URL" box of the "Insert Image" box (7 icons in from the right). This one. I know, clear as mud, but it's easy, free, and no dang Photobucket watermark blocking your picture.

I got tired with all of Photo Buckets shenanigans long ago and switched to Imgur. Imgur works like it should.

I have 2 photobucket accounts and hate the idea of switching. I have come pretty close to paying their ransom just to keep from having to save all my photos and re-upload them to another site.

Photobucket is on the same list as Dick's, Wal-Mart, and others with me. Never again. I downloaded all my photos from their site and then deleted whatever was left the first time they tried to screw us. Surprised they're still around - and obviously hurting for revenue.

As much as I hate it, I just upgraded my Photobucket to the $7/month plan. I feel like i just paid a ransom.

You did pay a ransom. IMGUR is free and easy. I bagged PB when they tried to hold hostage our pix and hook us for fees. Screw them!

How secure is imgur? Does it have privacy settings? I have a lot of family pics on photobucket i share with people but din’t necessarily want them with unrestricted access. All i can find on imgur is there is no log in, you just post pics.

How secure is anything on the net? You do have to sign up/create an account with IMGUR and your pics are only viewed by those you link them to, and you do log in. You can research it on their website and see if it works for you, lots of info.
