Groo here Ch4D makes a Cannelure tool that will allow you to use most any jacketed bullet . It is somewhat spendy but the bullet type is not as limited.https://www.ch4d.com/products/equipment/bullet-tools/CanToo

Might have to look at one, if it works for most calibers

155 grain HST crimped on the cannelure fits nicely in the chamber... BTW... I'm using the Lee Factory Crimp Die, to crimp them into the cannelure

Sorted a few handfuls more, and took a picture of what I have so far... looking like I’ll set up a sheet 3 grains per column ( + or - 0.1 grain of what is written on the sheet ) and sort them that way... will sell the odds and ends ( low count weights ) and keep the larger groups... just in a couple handfuls, weights ranged from 152.3 grains, to 156.4 grains... expect the big variation in weights, as to why these were pulled in the 1st place, as they "look" normal otherwise... hoping they'll shoot OK once sorted into 0.3 grain ranges

It must just be me, but this is a major PITA. sorting mixed bag of pulled Speer Gold Dots.
It seems kind of tricky because the base of the bullet can be different from the shank giving different readings. I'm still at the stage of using micrometer to measure the diameters. It takes me a few moments on each bullet as I have found a few out of round which requires spinning and a second or third measurement. I maybe took 30 minutes to do 50. and each diameter group still needs to be weighed.
I'm glad I don't charge me for my time. These would be damn expensive bullets. Suggestions? Besides Suck it up Buttercup.

I haven't shot them as I haven't even got thru 20% of the measuring for diameter variance. I figure the diameter is more critical than the weight variance.
I expect them to shoot ok. A 1 1/2" group at 25 yards bench rested. I think this bullets specialty is in Self Defense, not accuracy. I'm not really driven to use these bullets as I have several different powder/bullet combos now that group under an 1" all day. My game is revolvers out to 100 yard plus ringing steel, not SD.
I don't think about self defense, I don't practice any self defense drills, and I think people who do, are stressing their lives. Practicing to shoot and kill another human being has never been a requirement for my work or for me. I've been lucky. I've tried the concealed carry philosophy before and I found it changed me, and not for the better. I don't want the responsibility of being a sheepdog. I don't want to be in charge of protecting the flock. Too many variables to figure out who the good guys are.
I picked up the mixed Speer Gold Dots because of the price. My backcountry carry gun is a SW 360PD, 13 oz and short barrel. The Speer factory rounds Gold Dots for Short Barrel can get very expensive and very difficult to find. If it gets tight again in the ammo arena, I'm set to build my own.
