The majority of my rifles are Mausers. The most numerous chambering being .30-06's, followed by 8mm's (8x57, 8x60, 8x68), then 9,3x62s. Several each in 6.5x55 and then 7x57's. Some in .300 Savage, .308, 260 Rem, some .270's, 7mm Rems, .300 Win Mag, .375 H&H, 10.75x68, and .416 Ruger. A couple of .257 Bobs that never get shot anymore due to my fondness of the 6.5x55. Several other chamberings as well.
But I like lever guns too. Four Winchester 94 .30-30's, my favorite being a 1904 vintage that was originally an octagon barrel model that had the barrel replaced with a 24" model 64 barrel. Real light and handy and kills deer dead! Three Savage 99's: a 22 HP Takedown, a .308, and a .300 Savage. Two 760 pumps one in .300 Savage, another in .35 Rem. A 94 Big Bore in .375 Win, a Marlin 1895 CB in .45-70. And a slew of 22's both centerfire and rimfire. Several pistol caliber Leverguns as well as a .218 Bee.
A real sleeper that I consider very similar to the .250-3000 is a CZ 527 in 6.5 Grendel.
Gonna have to find a few I don't need anymore so I can buy an 1873!
Haven't met too many guns I didn't like, too many I couldn't afford though!

Lumping all action types together, lever, bolt, pump, semi-auto, and single shot: .223, 6mm Rem., 25-35, 250 Sav., 250 AI, 6.5x55, 6.5-06, 264 Win. Mag., 7x57, 270 Win., 280 Rem., 30 Rem., 30-06, 8mm-06, 358 Norma Mag., 375 H&H, 44-40, 45-60. Almost forgot, 30-30. And 22 LR and 22 Mag.
I knew I'd forget something: double in 303 British.

73s are fun ! You after an original ? I suppose that would depend on condition and cost. Didn't really want to buy another rifle but my '92 clone puts me in to the B Western category and I'm not dressing in that fashion. Gonna have to thin the herd a little to get the '73.
Things were a lot easier back in the day when CAS was still "new."

I have 4 muzzleloaders I inherited from an uncle. 2 cap locks and 2 flint locks. Haven’t played with them much though. I had a Remington 700 BDL in 30-06, but just had the privilege of giving it to my oldest boy as a 13th birthday present. I had gotten it from my dad, so was great to see his face light up when I handed him Grandpa’s rifle.
That leaves me with a BLR in 30-06.
I have to say I have been dabbling in the exotic lately. My Father in Law picked up a MAS Mle 1936 bolt action in a trade... and I have been studying the rifle to see what he got. Chambered in 7.5x54mm French. Sporterized so doesn’t have the bayonet... found ammo for it and itching to take it out.
So, don’t have a big rifle collection.

Hunting the midwest, I've been entirely satisfied with the 30-30 and 30-06; and the little 7.62x39 has proved to be a surprisingly good all-around deer & varmint cartridge for us. I had a CZ527 in x39 until my wife shot it... but I did get to watch her flatten a fat doe with at 220 yards a couple of years ago.
I have also come to love the 45 Colt from a 20" lever action. With the right loads it's either a 'rabbits in the garden' gun or a 45-70 Lite.

You're right John. I should change that first sentence to, "I'm an oddball with a few rifles."

There are a whooping seven rifles in the house. A couple 10-22s, a Kimber 22 Hunter/Silhouette, A Marlin Cowboy 41, A Remington 700 single shot 7mm-08 and a Browning Hi-Wall 7 mag. There is also one MSP which is a Colt LE model 223. Most of the space is taken up by revolvers.
