AP rifle ammo is okay, AP handgun ammo no bueno. Punch bullet... They're not solid brass.

DARN PC, WHAT I WANTED TO SAY IS THAT THOSE ARE ORIGINAL STYLE PUNCH BULLETS WHEN KYLEYE CROSS HATCHED THE BULLETS TO EASE PRESSURES, LATER HE JUST MACHINED IN A SHALLOW "LUBE" GROOVE.

Years ago Remington sold both loaded ammo and boxed bullets with a bronze tip. I still have about half a box of 130 gr. .270 around somewhere. they would zip through a white tale and if you did not hit a vital organ you were in for a long chase...

I have looked at the Cast Perf. Site and they do not have any Punch components available. I would like some for 44, 45, and 51. Luckily Midway has shipped my Swift 450gr, .51’s, those will have to do for now.

There are however great copper solid bullets available from LeHigh in .44 and .45. Can't help you with the .51...
