I have the 180 grain set up to notify me when back in stock. It will definitely be a good choice for a contender. Seeing as how I have 4 max contender barrels, I need lots of bullets to feed them

Made for the 350 Legend. Hopefully there's more to come. I've got Contenders and a No 3 to feed. www.midwayusa.com/product/1021525515----potatojudge ***** The Winchester .358 180 grain semi-round nose may DEEP SEAT in the 1.605-inch .357 Maximum case to fit the Ruger Blackhawk Maximum cylinder. Roll crimp on the shoulder radius, seating bullet deep enough to allow .040” clearance to cylinder face. I would start with H4227 or IMR 4227 loaded to base of bullet or very slight compression. Target @ 50 and 100 yards before trying another powder. 296/H110 will deliver more velocity----note: accuracy must be proven to validate use of this 296/H110. Also, small rifle primer only. Before hunting with such a bullet, I would line up ten or so one gallon milk jugs filled with water to test for expansion. There imay be a dramatic difference between expansion at 1,600 and 2,300 fps. Unless the pointed round nose acts to flatten into a wadcutter----at least----at revolver velocity, it may prove unreliable on deer. Bush pilot, IHMSA silhouetter, and sharpshooter Tom McGuire took a grizzly with his Dan Wesson Arms .357 Maximum loaded with the Speer .358 180 Flat Point rifle bullet. David Bradshaw
