I should have gone hunting there with you. I haven't hardly seen any deer all season!

Max, You do a great job promoting handgun hunting and representing with class. I’m impressed with how hard that 500 hammered those deer! Thank you. I am doing all that I can to make handgun hunting more mainstream and accepted. Yeah, the .500 just puts animals down with good placement and the right bullet. It really does! And I think the BFR does a good job at taming much of the abuse the cartridge is capable of delivering. Thank you gentlemen!

Well, I was able to sneak in Episode #2 last night. Another good one for sure. I saw the link for #4,, but didn't see it for #3 or #5 yet. Watching them w/o Amazon or whatever can be a challenge to find them. But,, I will when I have the time to allow it to play & buffer etc. Took me about 35-40 minutes to watch the 22 min video. Well worth it though!
Keep 'em coming Max!!! I may be slow & old fashioned,, but I will get there!
Interesting comments made by the folks guiding you about their surprise on how good a handgun is. Something we, as handgun hunters have heard all these years, yet, coming from a guide service,, you'd think they would have gotten over that by now. Then again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the stigma continues!

Then again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the stigma continues! Thanks again! Kahr Arms has a YouTube channel where I believe most of the episodes reside. That are also on RecoilTV. The biggest issue with many of these outfitters, especially outfitters in Africa, is that they largely haven’t had handgun hunters book hunts with them, so they really don’t know what to expect. When I initially contacted that outfitter, I had to convince him I was legitimate. Ironically, on the third day of my hunt (and the day I tagged my Cape buffalo), the outfitter expressed concerns and doubts about my choice in bullets and their effectiveness on large game that can hurt you. He essentially apologized for doubting that night before dinner!

Thanks Max. I tried the "RecoilTV site,, but there was so much stuff, I couldn't find your videos. I did see that Kahr Arms was listed as having them. I may try their site for the rest of them. I understand how outfitters rarely have handgun hunters book with them. But,, in this day & age,, you'd THINK they would have had some,, AND also discussed it with folks,, or seen enough on the "web" to knew we are out here! BUT,, at least yours did apologize & accept things once proven. Here in NC,, they USED to list handguns as a separate category when checking in big game. And, after the hunting season was over,, & the annual reports came out,, they would break it down into the different weapons & how many were killed by each county. I can recall that my handgun kills were the only recorded ones for my County. Now,, they just say; "Gun!" Oh well,, !!!!!!! But I like to poke at the wardens when I can & say things like; "I'm a chosen one,, I hunt with a handgun! I'm a real hunter!"

Just read Max’s article on new Buffalo Bore dangerous game ammo, in the American Hunter mag. Why does everyone leave out the .510 calibers??? No love for 500L and 500max, I’m sure it’s goota start with the bullet makers, but CEB does make super solids for .510’s

Max's articles turned me onto it years ago and I want nothing else when it comes to a big bore with all the options available for loading it. And, uh Max, what about that Linebaugh?.. That's quite the weapon.
