...for a Python, Trooper, GP-100, L-Frame, Taurus Tracker.... www.gunbroker.com/item/818224302..sad that Colt dropped the ball again.... A shortened version as long as a 10mm round would be the perfect 10mmAR for the GP-100 MC... Bob

Groo here You got it with the 10mm [ like the Gp100, got a 3 in] pluss it is moonclip loaded. I don't think AR in 10mm is worth the effert.[except for crimping the bullet...] Ps some have made rugers into 10 mm mag.....

My GP-100 is at Dave Clements getting converted to 10mm rimmed ( not the thicker autorim )... cases made from 41 magnum or special, are thinned at the web on a lathe, and swaged to 10mm diameter, and then trimmed to 10mm length, head spacing on the rim, the bullets can be roll crimped... I send some loaded rounds along with the gun, to Dave for fitting... other work will also be completed barrel shortened to 3” and slab sided, to reduce a little weight, and action tune work done as well... expect to see it again sometime this fall

Just no one wanted to jump on that”” “Herters” horse... to the best of my knowledge, they were pretty sloppy/careless on initial load development, and perhaps that had something to do with it not getting picked up by any of the other players... as a handload cartridge... it’s a gem.... ( I also have a buckeye cylinder in 401 Powermag, and 10 mm Magnum )

I believe our forum sponsor has a very good article on the 400 colt,.....personally I think a modern 38-40 does it really well for medium game and smaller. I just need to find one in someone’s safe that I like and then talk them out of it,..or build one Trapr

Touched base with Dave Clements today... he has gotten the barrel back from being bored to 40 caliber... be a couple months until he figures it'll be done, with his current work load

I think they came out in the ctg. they were designed for. There is nothing wrong with the .357mag.

I have to admit, since selling my 44 Special GP100 I have been looking real hard at the WC 3" GP100 in 10mm. A 180-220 grain WFN or HP at 1100-1200 fps sounds pretty good to me.

Wonder if Colt is considering reintroducing the Anaconda, if the Python sells well.
