I had about had enough of the RCBS tool, i bought a couple years ago, while not horrible it is a royal pain, to switch shell holders. So i went on line, to see what is out there, midway was a good source for information, i read the reviews , on a few and watched video, i had about decided on a RCBS bench mounted unit , but it seemed to be a slow process, probably fine for loading 20 rounds for my 30,06 , but for priming 100 rounds of you favorite revolver case , way to slow. I was half way to the door, when it donned on me, midway showed nothing from Lyman, so i went strait to the Lyman web sight, and it took a little digging but i found there unit and watched a video. I was sold ! drove right over to sportsman's warehouse and bought one. Its called the E-ZEE prime. It is much much better than the RCBS tool. Enough so that i am thinking of taking the green one to the woods with me , setting it on a stump, and shooting it all to hell ! The small and large primer trays have all the small parts built in, there is a retaining collar that mounts on the handel , you pull the collar off take the shell holder out lift the tray assembly out, drop other tray in place put the new shell holder on replace the collar and you are ready. RCBS is a great company, but this Lyman E-Zee prime is the way to go ! And i don,t think i ever bought a lyman tool that didn't work well. ...tj3006

Glad you found something that will work for you. As for me, I've been using the RCBS hand tool since the Silurian era without issue.

I prefer RCBS, use both the hand primer and the bench mounted system. Been them for decades without problem.

SAME HERE AND I'VE TRIED E'M ALL..I USE THE RCBS HAND PRIMING TOOL, THE BENCH MOUNTED TOOL AND THE UNIVERSAL TOOL----NEVER A PROBLEM. MY MAIN PROGRESSIVE RELOADER IS THE RCBS 2000 USING PRIMER STRIPS.
