Early but typical IPSC/USPSA competition gear. I don't know if Safariland helped Rogers with these but their later gear was nearly a dead ringer for this^. Safariland eventually bought the Rogers holster Co.
Ken Hackathorn was one of the pioneers of IPSC.
Bill Rogers, retired FBI agent & entrepreneur formed manufacturing companies to supply many thing to the firearms industry.

Bill Rodgers pioneered Kydex as a holster material. He was also a well known IPSC shooter, as well as other action shooting sports (Bianchi Cup, etc.). Ken Hackathorn was the high overall shooter at the week long IPSC Founding Conference, using a Milt Sparks "Hackathorn Special" holster. This was Rogers authorized version and this was no 500 of 500.

My first (and only) holster from my IPSC days. Notice mine is number 626. At the time it seemed all of the other makers were using steel lined holsters. The Rogers was lined with plastic making it lighter. Dan
