First off have really enjoyed reading/learning from the smart sixgun folks in the last couple months since finding this forum, as a younger shooter I appreciate all the knowledge from folks I’ve read about thru the years.
I’m feeding a couple 44’s now and need to upgrade my old single cavity Ideal 429421 (round lube groove, front driving band ~.427”. Probably a change Elmer hated? The old CH4D pistol champ loads em quick enough, need a faster mold.
Would like to upgrade to a 4 cavity, have had good success with the 429421 but would like something more to the true to the original Keith design. Will be used for target and game , recommendations on a maker to go with?
Thanks!

Get the 4 cavity Miha mould, that way you can make 4 different bullets with one mould. Closer to the true Keith design.

NOE also makes a good clone of it, with 4 or 5 cavity molds available.

Most of my MP are brass but I absolutely love my 6cav aluminium copy of HG#503 from Miha. Pick brass if you want some versatility using HP pins (can make FP solids too). It holds temperature very good. Aluminium mould is lighter.

If you enjoy it, "Mountain Molds" in Idaho allows you via their website to design your own mold. It is very easy to do and you can add weight or loose weight, Change the length of the various bullet bands etc. Turn around is about a week.
