A large part of Terry's collection is being sold by Bobby Tyler here: www.tylergunworks.com/store/FIREARMS-c35407201Proceeds benefit his widow, Judy. There is some nice stuff here and a couple really good deals, like the Maunz Match Rifle and the high grade Browning Model 1895.

I have to stop looking at the list, it has cost me too much money already. All of those guns were taken care of properly and are priced very reasonably...

Yep. I bought three of the S&Ws just to get the Deacon Deason stocks off them. Not sure what I'll do with the guns - maybe keep them, maybe sell them, but I wanted those stocks. Here's hoping Terry's hands and mine are similarly shaped.
Also bought the .357 Browning 92. I've been looking for one of those for years. Hopefully, I can find an original rear sight for it. Terry had a tang sight on it and I'm not sure if I'll like that or not.
So, yeah, it has cost me some coin, too! LOL
It would be nice to get his log sheets for each of the guns. He kept a notebook detailing exactly how many rounds he shot through each of his guns and what the loads were. It was always funny when he would whip that out when people got on a high horse about wanting to know a "round count" for a used gun. He'd post a picture and say something like "Does this one look like it has had 12,233 rounds through it?"

I may have to call to see if that 41 shortie is still available.

This is dangerous territory; those 3 Bisley models with a 6.5" barrels are all calling my name to be brothers in my safe, especially that 45 colt with those simple but beautiful micarta stocks. I guess I'm just a simple man.

Yeah, those micartas look like they are Westinghouse. I was so tempted by that one, too.

Just makes you think about the cycle: born, live, accumulate, die, wife sells stuff off. C'est la vie. I'm sure he was a neat man

It’s good to have a friend in the know that is listed in your effects that can effectively liquidate collections like ours. I know I do. Our days are numbered.
