You boys are like crack dealers! Only holding one CZ right now. 17 MHR with the spring kit the crack dealers recommended. Currently running an old Leupold 12x but I have a plan for an old 10X. Paralax on the 12X stops at 50 yards. The 10X goes down to 25... Thinking that will solve the little bit of side to side I see here..
When I was teaching Hunter Ed for the ODFW I bought CZ 22lr bolt guns to use at the range. Tack driving little guns. It just took a little to get used to the safety moving a different direction for fire for this old man but for the new shooters who had not grown up with guns it was no problem. I found a little left hand Savage for teh lefties in class nad it did really well too. Once this wedding things gets wrapped up I really need to take my Kimber HS out with a bunch of ammo to find what it really likes.
Are there any 10X or 12X Leupolds to be had new these days or do you have to find someone willing to sell you a used one?
Somewhere I have a photo of the Leupold 10x Target AO (Adjustable Objective), mounted to one of the first XP-100 7mm BR Remingtons. Of course it’s a rifle scope on a pistol. Leupold was mildly amused, but not enough to like the idea, figuring it might inspire someone to get a Weatherby Eyebrow. That scope has been in service 40 years, with no sign of quitting. The micrometer clicks are positive in any weather, with hashmarks perfectly visible, even to mature eyes. I, for one, don’t mind the Adjustable Objective. Fewer parts than an extra knob and hole in the side of the tube.. Elegant and Country Simple. Maybe this review will make somebody want to sell theirs. The Leupold 10x Target AO took a turn on a CZ 452 Ultra Lux, and may return. David Bradshaw

Youth 527 .223. Youth means 13" LOP. Had a Valdada 2.5-10 sitting in the gun room. Got this for my son to learn bolt language but it's gonna be fun for me too. 40 grain Fiocchi plastic tips should mess things up fine.

WD40 will eat it's way out of a can, yet people spray it on their guns
I have had a few, And currently a 557, in .308 Its a fine rifle 20.5 inch barrel. The goofy thing to me is the same rifle in 30,06 or 270 only come with a 20.5 inch barrel, also. two darn short for me,in the cartridges. But the left hand version has a 24'tube. If they come out with a 24 inch 270 i might jump...tj3006
Forgot that I have a 300BO CZ 527. Like that single set trigger. Nice gun but bedding is woefully absent. Barrel is hard on one side of the stock. It will put three shots in a single hole and start walking. I have a plan to bed the action soon.
