Finally had the chance to shoot my Clements bearcat and Gp-100 41 special. The load for the special is starline brass, cci 300 primers with 7 grains of unique. Bullet is Montana cast 220gr. Gun grouped extremely well at 7 and 12 yrds . 12 shot groups were one big hole! Pushed it to 25 yrds and my old eyes came into play! Lol The basic accuracy pkg on the bearcat proved well worth the money! I shot cci stingers and the cci quiet , two ends of the scale with velocity and both were very accurate! I wanted the quiet to be my go to on my trap line, so glad it shot well! I also shot my 4 inch Reeder Bisley 510. That gun is my favorite bigbore, handy and accurate! Stoked with 350 gr cast 29 gr of 4227 and cci 350 primers. Cool part of the day was meeting a fellow with a freedom arms 45 model 97 abusing the 10 ring at 25 yards, turns out it was Carl Rorhbaugh inventor of the R9 9 mm pistol! We talked guns for a good while. What a gentleman! Gotta say I was a little star stuck! Lol For a rainy muggy day , it was quite eventful! Happy face here!

7.0 of Unique is the same as 8.0 in a Magnum case...my favorite loads....

Sounds great JK. I'd like to hear more about that 41 Special. I've discussed one with Dave.
Right now I'm planning a line bored 38-40. But, always looking for a new project.

I’m extremely happy with the build! It started out as a nib Talo 6” non-fluted cylinder in Ss. Conversion to 41 special ,with action job and Bowen rear sight. I also had the barrel fluted ,last minute decision as I had not seen an example with a six inch barrel just the shorties. Glad I had it done! I also have a a Miha gc mould on the way!
