There's a ring of authenticity in friends and acquaintances telling me to do the PT. No pain, no gain. Thanks for your honest concern. PT alleviates all sorts of not wanted outcomes. Working on sharpening my weak hand skills with a 9mm Kahr K9 and a Smith 69 4.2" with hot specials, been coasting on the weak hand stuff since retirement 16 years ago.

Been through PT with a smashed spine, knee surgery and replacement. It hurts, but is worth it. Prayers for you.

I'll attempt to answer some of your questions! Shoulder surgery two days after pic, has slowed my pic taking and typing. It's hell to take your dominant haand and arm out of service for 12 weeks. Grips are mirrored on right side, slight bevel finish at bottom of grip. Minimal fitting just a couple places on gripframe where grips were a few thousandths proud. Purchased grips through Brownells. Material is Walnut, possibly Bastogne. Praying for quick, complete healing/recovery!

Thanks for the reply. Now get well and shoot the fire out of that pistol!

Coming from the guy that fell off the roof and broke his pelvis in 2 places, PT will get You back where you want to be sooner. IF - BIG IF - you also do your home exercises they are likely to give you. The discomfort from the PT is typically short-lived and not chronic. If you don't do it you very likely will have chronic (lifetime) issues.

And relearning on the range, remember your .22s!

Got a 22 rifle, no 22 handguns. Have shot a few 38 wadcutters in a K frame and it went well, less than 25 rounds.

Had two new ball joints (total shoulder replacement) in 2017. Therapy is no fun. Don't shirk on it. It'll pay off in the long run.

I have a question that is seemingly clear. I am assuming the Ruger Bisley grips are different enough from original Colt Bisley grips NOT to interchange?

As Joe said: Yup, different pup altogether. But my only SA grip.
