Okay, no earth-shattering revelation here, and nothing new to the board. Just my chance to heap some praise and show off a new picture! This IS the gallery after all! So...I have had my BFR 475 Linebaugh for a while now and I just can't say enough good about it! Only negative is some easily remedied sharp spots around the trigger guard, and the need to upgrade the front sight to one of Fermin's amazing creations here very soon. But other than that...no complaints! I also do have plans for another BFR in 500JRH to join the family here very soon. Who knows after that...500 Linebaugh? And so it starts! If you are on the fence about getting one...just hop of that fence and do it. You wont regret it. The quality of firearm for this price is simply hard to beat! Not at all saying its the finest version of a FA or custom job to be sure (and I am talking in standard production form...I am quite sure the precision center guns are even more amazing), but man, can this thing shoot and for 1/2 to 1/3 the cost! Geesh! For me...and my budget...these might just be the BEST deal in big bore single action precision! One caveat...I DO NOT like the standard "plow handle" design with these, but I do LOVE the Bisley version offered...IMHO (and most others here) a necessity in the bigger heavy boomers! The requisite gallery photo:

Great looking gun but a better new sight is a must do.

Love the looks of those with the Bisley gripframe and white stocks....
Have been thinking about getting one in .500 JRH as I already have a 500 S&W 4" so all I would need to buy is some brass...

Bob You definitely should, Bob. And I agree with you on selecting the 500JRH...as mentioned it's next up for me as well!

I typically go with the Ultradot 30, but my one .500 JRH that has an optic has an Ultradot Four up top and it has held up well.
