Ok, I have to admit I’m a stickler for pronouncing someone’s name correctly. In researching many videos on the 454 Casull cartridge I keep hearing many people pronounce it “Casoool” which doesn’t sound right to me. To me it should sound just like it is spelled “ca-sull”. Does anybody know the correct way? Trivial I know but it bugs me!

With a long Polish last name, such things don't bother me anymore. An honest effort is appreciated though.

I am a little stumped on Bisley.
I always pronounced it bis-lee. I heard a guy in a gun shop once say bees-lee

I told some at work just yesterday, "I before E, except after Elmer" They had no idea what I meant.

Hand in hand with the mispronunciation goes spelling. How many times do you see "454 Casual" on this forum? A lot! The funny thing is that of all revolver rounds this one is anything but!

My last name is two words, three syllables. Easy but not many can pronounce...or spell it. Helps weed out the junk mail. cas: Great "I before E..." example!

When your name is "Dick" people can come up with a lot of variations!
