Got my P365 mid April 2018. I have just under 17,000 rounds from 7 or 8 brands and grains, new & reloads, brass & aluminum. I have had zero problems. Installed a Green Lima 365 laser. Love it. Little Siggy is one great gun.

I got a new unfired one in a trade deal about 5 months ago . I am not a 9mm fan at all and haven't owned one for atleast 20yrs , always thought the guns they were chambered in were way to big for such a small round . But I like it in this 365, my gun is accurate, easy to shoot and carry . Like the night sights also .

I prefer to not carry a little gun. And “new” guns to me have to be out long enough to “prove” themselves. The standard P365 didn’t do much for me but the XL version is just enough of an improvement to warrant a second look. With a 15 round mag in place and a Romeo Zero on top it is a “big” little gun to me. I haven’t quite decided what role it will play in my ensemble of tricks to repel the bad guys. It is compact enough to carry as a spare magazine with a gun around itself. Or maybe as a backup to a primary carry and a spare mag...
Anyway I have one. I’m going to have to chase down it’s role in my bad guy play book.

I picked up a p365 first of the year and loved it with the 12rd mags, but I had some issues when I dropped the mag for a mag change. The mag hung up on my hand so when the XL version came out I scored an XL frame so I swapped everything over and no more problems with mag drops. I also had the slide cut for a JP red dot sight and I mounted an 8moa dot JP sight on it. My eyes are not what they used to be and that big dot really is fast to pick up. I carry it with a 12rd mag in it and 2 15rd mags as spares. Everything so far has been 100% reliable with everything I have run thru it (about 600 rds). So far the most accurate carry load has been the standard pressure 147gr HST load. After 200 flawless rounds of it that is what I decided to carry in it. I also swapped over to a flat trigger and the feel of the trigger feels better to me and I also stopped shooting left of the target when I use the iron sights.

I have a 365 and like it very much. I like it good enough that it's my EDC gun. I will tell you one thing about mine, it hates 115and lighter ammo. I practice with 124 gr bullets of just about all configurations. I carry Fed. 124 Hydrashocks and it loves them. Bill

I had one for a while. I thought it was a fantastic little shooter. I put a couple thousand rounds through it during the time I had it. Most of that being WWB Nato and I dont remember having any issues other than it didnt function with steel case ammo. A stronger extractor spring might have fixed that though. Mine was an early one, but made after the ones that were having issues with the strikers. I ended up trading it while it still had that "new on the market and hard to get value". Traded it for a CZ 75 PCR that I carry now. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one, though I might be more interested in the XL version now that it's out. I do miss how nice and small it was. A DA/SA version of one of those would be excellent.

I bought a 365 and xcompact at the same time with the intent to keep the one I preferred. I much preferred shooting the xcompact but ultimately sold it since the primary purpose was CC. My gun will shoot 1” or smaller 5 shot groups at 12&1/2 yards with hand loaded JHPs. It’s surprisingly shootable for a tiny gun and the sights show up real nice on target. I do wish it were as fun as the xcompact though.
