Found this old Smith at the local pawn shop and they accepted my offer.....so it now has a new home

Wow that is an old one. Pre 1948 when they just stamped Made in the U.S.A. on the frame. Check on the inside of the grips to see if they are serial numbered to the gun.

I ended up with Mrs uncle Colt Trooper in 38 special... nothing wrong with those old guns
