I'm looking into buying one of these and want to make sure it's all steel. Thanks.

Hi... I ordered mine the day they were announced. It is all steel and an excellent revolver. One of my favorite Ruger revolvers.

I have 3 of them, a 5.5" Bisley & two 4-5/8" with the outstanding XR3 grip frame, one blue & one stainless... Excellent fit & finish on all. Definitely a worthwhile purchase in my opinion.

I have the 4-5/8 and it handles my reloads very well. The recoil from one of my plow handles is more intense. You will not be disappointed.

Mine is a Bisley & I think particularly nice, with a piece of Rams horn from Zane...

Love mine, especially with the Pearce load! 245 Keith SWC over 8 grains of Power Pistol and WW primer in Starline brass. Yields 966fps from my revolver. 17K pressure and little tiny groups that make my heart sing. Only single action revolver I own, one of the last of any weapon I will give up.

This is all good to hear since I just traded for one of these with a Powers bisley hammer and Persinger ivories 😀

A 5.5 inch mid 2000s flat top XR-3 44 special is next on my list, it's on layaway right now.

Haven't had a chance to shoot it as much as I'd like, but I'm really happy with mine. It's a 4 5/8" Bisley, currently wearing a pair of Koa wood grips (My first attempt at grip making).
