Wanted to shoot it before I invested in a base and trigger parts but it just didn't work out...

I've done a lot with these rifles. The triggers polish up very nicely. You may say bad, bad words trying to get the little ball bearing back in the detent, but well worth the effort.
These are hands down my favorite of the rimfires to be had.

Mounted the scope in the rail that DIP makes for it. Gun turned out multiple 25 yard sub 1/4 inch 5 shot groups with mixed ammo and the factory trigger. I'll put the trigger parts in next.

DIP makes its quality dovetail base in two lengths. One stops at the front of the RECEIVER RING, the other extends forward a bit.The SHORT base may be best for a scope with large objective bell. I selected the longer CZ 452 base for a long scope with 44mm objective.
A tip-off ring which clamps direct to 11mm receiver dovetail is very clean, and more elegant with the fine iron sights on some Model 452’s. Tip-off rings to fit the 11mm dovetail are more limited. David Bradshaw

I've been pretty happy with the Warne rings on my various 452's. Not long after my sons were born, I bough each of them a 452 Trainer. Wonderful iron sights and the long barrel makes for easy offhand shooting.
I stumbled across a 452 "Style". Never knew q nickel plated 452 had been produced. Apparently the Style model suffered from recoil pads the easily deteriorated hence the ridiculously low asking price. I snatched it up and installed a Pachmayer slip on pad and that sucker is accurate. The kids love it too.
Following is not my rifle but shows what the Style looks like:

Got this back in Jan (455 threaded synthetic). DIP base, weaver rings, Leupold 2x - 7x Rimfire (50 yd parallex) The synthetic stock is very nice. Took it out for the first time a couple of weeks ago to sight in along with Nelson Custom .22 conv. Only shot enough to confirm POA. Nelson needs a couple of clicks left windage -- next time out. Dog is a bit noise sensitive, so will use the suppressor for gophers. Sight in target only had time for limited shooting.

Trigger spring changed. Five shots at 25 yards. Currently blaming the horizontal dispersion on parallax..

MDT makes a couple of different chassis for the 452 and 455. If I like the MDT I get for my Rem 700 project, I may look into one for my 452 Trainer. If it doesn't work with the Trainer, Rigid Alloy is another option I think.
