Why hasn’t anyone made a .357 Maximum lever gun? I’ve always liked the 357 max in my contender but I think In a levergun it would take it to a whole new level. It would be a great deer gun. What would be the best route to take to rechamber a gun to .357 max.?

A 35 Rem. Bolt face would be closer.

35 Remington or a 375 Winchester would be my choices! Would like to try a single shot in 375 Winchester.

if you go over to Paco Kelly's lever gun board and search, you will find multiple recurrent discussions of this topic....
it seems that it is a bit complicated.

Levers like tapered cases, and a small taper feeds slicker than no taper. The .357 Maximum is a stretched .357 Magnum is a stretched .38 Special. Lever actions like to be stroked like you mean business----nature of the beast. Chambering in a repeater incorporates not just the nose of the bullet, but the whole case. David Bradshaw

would the 375 win and the 30-30 be the same gun since they share the same case a 375 is nothing more then a 30-30 blown out straight wall

That's a heck of an idea. Hijack, what if Freedom Arms made a lever gun? Picture it. Cycle it in your mind.
