Awesome, Thanks for posting this...
Doubt I buy one though. My 5" GP100 in 10mm is one of my most accurate Double Actions.

I saw this on the S&W boards. I've been wanting a 610 for a few years now but they've priced themselves off this earth(not to mention I've never seen one in person). I'll definitely be getting a new one if they come out. Probably a 4" but I like the 6.5 too

These are great revolvers, I think I've owned 7 of them over the years. That's mostly what I shot in competition for a long, long time. Even the 4" guns were nice, actually 3 7/8". Wonder if they will be offered in both fluted & unfluted cylinder this time like before.

...guess they were tired of Ruger making all the money on calibers that they dropped... Now lets see if they come out with an L-frame .41 Magnum to match their Model 69 and some .327s in J and K-frame....

I wish they would have done the 69 in 10mm. I too have had a crap load of 610s. My favorite was a 5 inch non fluted

If it is an "N",I have no interest in 10 mm. They should have used their model 69 frame for this. In a "N" frame I'll buy a 41 mag.

Bugger Bugger. It is not Massachusetts state compliant. How is that even possible? Are internal lock guns all MA compliant?

That's a fine looking 610 Joe! I really think the biggest market will be the competition shooters & maybe plinkers. As mentioned if you want a big, powerful N frame a 41 is a better hunting gun. All of mine were superbly accurate with cast bullets & I probably made at least 100 pairs of stocks for different competition shooters using laminated wood. I also sold a lot of the competition cylinder releases you see on my guns here. Two of these are 610's, one is an 8 shot 357 & one is a 38 Super. I probably put close to 200,000 rounds through a non fluted 6 1/2" one that isn't shown. Dick
