Well, tonight, I shot mine with some xtp210's with 18 grains of 2400...it wasn't bad but would I shoot something heavy like buffalo bore...probably not...but I bought mine to carry Winchester silver tips which I like and 41 specials.

...that may not be a BB loading but it is right up there stout... I have come to prefer the 160-190 grain class of bullets in my short or light weight .41s....
Silvertips would probably be the ideal factory load... My records show they run between 1200-1250 from a 4"... The Federal Barnes 180 ran 1143 from a 2.5"NightGuard...

I've some doupletap 170grn which I haven't yet tried but would like to once I buy a couple more boxes...I had the Taurus mdl 415 w/o the ported barrel to which I still suffer from sellers remorse, it was a fine firearm...I think I'd like to get the Charter Arms in the 45 colt or acp too!

ira...if you had the 2.5" Titanium, I passed a couple up years ago for in the $500 range and still regret it.... There is one on GB now and the bid is already up in the $700s... There is also a 4" Titanium Tracker for $800... I have one of them and a 6"...would love to get the 2.5" to fill out the collection... One of my favorite woods walkin' guns..
The stainless steel ones can still be had for about $500...when they come up for sale that is...
