The seller is legit. I just did a deal with him on the SRH Alaskan in .480 he had Bowen work over, which I posted about in the Double Action forum. Easiest transaction I have ever have made on a forum for a gun.

Funny those big custom Redhawks always seem to be a tough sell in the Linebaugh cartridges. Marvelous gun and cartridge just don’t sell as well as the single actions seem to.

The double action 500s seem to move faster than the 475s I've seen at auction. That could be the individual guns though. The last 2 or 3 DA 475s I've seen at auction were all ported. My personal preference would be an unported gun. But either way, you're right. The SAs tend to go faster.
