The few I've owned and seen had the full width front and rear sights. But if you're looking at an older one, you might want to double check. Especially it it's built on a black powder frame.

Cholla I would agree with this also. Most of the older BP frame models, or model "P"s (pinched frame) of course have the narrower notch and blade. FWIW, the widest notch and front blade set up on an Italian copy that I am aware of is the EMF Great Western II "Californian" (made by Pietta), a model specifically with wider notch and front blade. They are very nice IMHO. This is the same on the models, whether Bisley or standard plow handle...at least for those I have owned.

I know that the Dixie Firearms Uberti Bisleys come with the narrow front sight and "V" rear notch...have one in 44 sp...I have a Stoeger Uberti Bisley in 357 mag with the larger square rear and wide front.

Here's what I found out today on this:
An email back from Uberti Stoeger said that this gun comes with the pinched sights.
I just got off the phone with Chip at Cimarron arms in Texas, and he told me specifically that the newer guns come with the wider channel and front sight, although occasionally they will get guns in with the pinched frame for no reason.
I hope this clears it up for everybody as much as it did for me.
