***** Snyd..... incredibly smooth piece of John Browning history. Shot one of these forty-five years ago at thrown cans and clays. It was called Model 1887 and had a plain steel barrel, not Damascus. 10 gauge and the stock had been shortened, which, together with drop-at-comb and the 10 gauge dose of shot, made for some recoil. We shot a Browning Auto-5 12 gauge along side the lever and could empty five from the long-recoil A-5 as fast or faster than the second shot from the ten. Browning’s lever shotgun is incredibly smooth. Yours looks to be in fantastic shape. David Bradshaw
