Quick update, took the 329 to the range with some 230 Keith hard cast and some 240 hornady. The Keith was a lighter load of 231 than the hornady but it seemed to have more kick. Neither was bad at all thanks to the x frame grips and the light loads. Really was a fun gun to shoot. The D&L rear sight is great! They are 75 to order. Makes a very clean sight pic. Though the 240 grain load shot lighter with more 231 it threw flames out the gun, big time. Was very impressive.
On another note, leaving the range decided to walk the gun store. They had a used but almost new smith 327. So after thinking about it a while went and picked it up the next day. It was 300 or so cheaper than I’ve ever seen them before. Had 3 moon clips and looks new. Can’t wait to get it out and shoot.
Thinking very hard about a kydex chest rig for the 329. Can wear it under my pfd when kayaking and it won’t add much weight to the package.

I have a Diamond D chest holster that I wear with a Redhawk while canoeing quite a bit that works really well.
It is secure and comfortable, and doesn't bounce around.
