I just snagged another set of dual speedloader square butt Hogue's off ebay. That makes 6 sets I have.

Nice gun...I had a local gunsmith who was S&W Factory trained do a Model 57 .41 Magnum just like it.
Could you post take some pics of the front sight and crown....

Beautiful 5" .44 there Warhawk! My own 29-2 was done by SDM fabricating, so that may be another place to check out in regards to the origin of yours. And just for kicks, a friend who is a trainer and one of the founders of uspsa and ipsc owns this, 5" Model 29. His however is a factory original.

Must be nice living up in Elmer Keith country. I was up there in '93 on an elk hunt, I wish I could've stayed.

Your 29 looks GREAT.... Many years age I had a 629 cut to 5" and it handled as good as it looked.....

Must be nice living up in Elmer Keith country. I was up there in '93 on an elk hunt, I wish I could've stayed. The grips on the 5" 29-2 shown are Eagle Classics.
