A couple of months ago I sent a box of grip frames and some lumber to Zane and the first batch has arrived. He wanted me to confirm that I liked the palm swell on the Ruger Bisley before making the remaining sets, and as others here can attest they feel much better in the hand than factory stocks. A word to anyone sending two piece grip frames in, and I should have noticed this when dismounting the components, but the two piece grip frames are a little "sprung" mounted on the main frame and they sort of collapse a little when removed. Thankfully, Zane had a frame to mount my grip frame on and got the job done. The board I sent was a piece of feathered walnut with a transition from sapwood to heartwood. I vaguely laid out the Ruger Bisley grips, but Zane did the rest and I think his choice of sapwood on the Colt and dark heartwood on the Seville work perfectly. The guns are: 41 Mag Tombstone Seville, Harton/Stroh 414 Gates, 1905 Colt Bisley by Stroh

Very nice set. Makes me scratch my head in the 414. I think it lived here for awhile several years ago.

Very nice set. Makes me scratch my head in the 414. I think it lived here for awhile several years ago. Yep, then it was CCH’d and sold to me, now it’s got grips. Maybe one day it’ll get a full length line-bored cylinder for the 290 grain loads. I can’t bring myself to put an RMR on it since it’s already got the best iron sights made.

Super nice, seeing this reminds me how far behind I am at getting my box full of grip frames and wood sent away.

The grips on your Seville are beautiful. Your 41 would go very nicely with my 45 Tombstone Seville.

I look at the pictures and just dream how good my 32H&R is going to look when Zane gets done but ram horn.

Cool! I go back and forth between preferring some scale/ bark to no scale/bark. Wonder what the grip master sends me?
