Foxtrapper see if there is too much compression when the trigger group is placed into the receiver. It could be that it’s not allowing the Sears and such to release or your springs are being impinged on.

I would look into a 12 gage Browning BPS they are three inch guns that have back bored barrels and come with three Invector Plus choke tubes. Lot of gun for the money.

I tried out the cz you are inquiring about to shoot skeet. I'm 6'1", medium build. It worked for my dimensions just fine. Usable trigger. I bought a 12 gauge montefeltro for son last Christmas. I hope to get one at some point, as it is a very sweet thing. Scheels sports, here is northern Colorado, sold a special run of Franchi 12 gauge doubles last December for $750! They were very basic, but nice. I wish I'd had the dough at the time. Perhaps they'll do it again this year. I doubt you would have any issues with the CZ, though.
