Did anyone look at the barrels at the forcing cones on the new ones? Was at the friendly pusher this morning and he showed me one of each. There is a lot of metal around the forcing cone on these. (5" half lug barrel) Did Ruger make some changes to these? The forcing cone use to be thin on the 44 special. On theses it looked like a normal 44 mag forcing cone. This suck's now I will have to buy one.

If this is true I might buy one.
Didn't somebody crack the forcing cone on one of the .44s here recently?

I was ordering some others today and saw all four models of them are available at distributor today. I assume they had a new run arrive.

Saw this 10mm GP100 Lipsey's exclusive in the display case this morning. I recently bought one of this model and it's excellent. Shooting great as is, so believe will improve with better springs, grips and action job.

I'd fear that the blue 10mm will be like the blue 44S... When the first run is gone they may be gone!

Both 10mm and 44 special are stellar rounds. I grabbed one of these in 357 because I am already set to load that round in quantity. The forcing cone seems to be of a suitable thickness to provide a lifetime or two of durability. I am keeping an eye out for a 44 special.

I keep choking on the concept of a romping and stomping 10mm in a revolver. I use a taper crimp in 38 Super and 45 ACP semi auto stuff and even my 38 Shot Colt loads for revolvers. Decent bullet weight, taper crimp, and snappy recoil is asking for jumping crimp. Just loaded some taper crimp SWC 45 ACP for a Scandium 45. My standard paper punching 1911 load worked good in this gun. It had been a crimp jumping fool with any off the shelf factory stuff.. Put a rim on the case and roll that crimp for me.. Bump from .401 to .410 and let's go! The S&W model 69 in 41 mag would be my answer..

If they made a 69 in 41 mag I would break my arm getting my wallet out
