Picked up this neat little J-frame this morning. 331 no dash 32 H&R Airlite Ti. Looking forward to having it out to the range tomorrow.

^^^That is a really nice 32. An H&R is in my future for sure.
My 30-1 ship date is April 1969. I had no idea it was this old. It amazes me a gun that's nearly 50 years old can pop up in a gun case for sale and possibly unused.

I load a little 98 grain Magnus Bullet Company wadcutter for my 32s. Primary loads are for the Walther wadcutter gun. They really run well in the LCR for those little old ladies with arthritic hands. They can stand an extended shooting session with the WC loads and then load the thing up with 32 mag or 327 for carry.. I do something similar with a lightweight wadcutter bullet in 38 Special for my wife’s LCRx.

And I found just the right one today. It's a S&W 30-1 3 inch round butt. Pinned barrel but no recessed cylinder. Honestly it doesn't look fired outside of the factory. Even the grips number to the gun. I'm not sure on the date of manufacture, still researching that. some old school!

32 is starting to get my attention. My wife cannot rack the slide on an Auto and 38 snubbies produce too much pop, bang and fizz for her so 32 could be a possibility.
Tinker, Axehandle and you are stirring the fires for a little J frame airweight in 32 H&R Maggie.
Need to see a target soon?

Pinto's Guns in Renton Washington has a very nice refinished Model 1903 right now for $160. For a .32 'shooter' grade gun it would be hard to beat. I'd have snagged it but I already have an identical gun.

I have an unattractive but good shooting Improved I-Frame .32 Long with a 3 1/8" barrel - it really likes warm handloads from Sharpe's old data. Sent from my Lenovo TB3-X70F using proboards
