"Critters of antiquity", damn, I resemble that remark! Can snap caps be used only once?

Thought I would post a follow up report on going through Heritage's warranty repair.
[1] Good - their customer service was very pleasant on the phone - no hassle to get them to take gun and repair (shipping paid for by Heritage). - got the gun back in a little less than a month - no cost to me
[2] Bad - on the phone they said it will take 12 weeks to fix (that seemed long to me) - I then got a letter via mail saying it would fixed in 2 weeks. - after 3 weeks, I called them and they said it was a typo and would take 12 weeks. - Thus, they seemed to have miscommunication as to how many weeks it would really take... a bit annoying but not a big deal
All in all, not bad (though it would have been nice if the transfer bar did not break in the fist place).

Just for comparison, I bought a ruger single seven and the front sight was crooked. I called them and they said send it in. They paid for shipping, and it took one week including shippinng time. Ruger has excellent customer service.

Ruger has excellent customer service. Exact same thing with me and my Single Seven. I do like Ruger guns and their customer service. Have always been treated kindly.
