I know some of you guys are into USPSA and other types of run and gun shooting events. Thought I might post my hat cam and third person videos from this year's IRC in Mesquite, NV:

I'm dizzy just watching you shoot! What gun did you use and how many speed loaders does a guy carry for a course like that?

I'm dizzy just watching you shoot! What gun did you use and how many speed loaders does a guy carry for a course like that? I'll take that as a compliment! I'm using a S&W 929 which has been modified quite a bit. A while back I posted pictures from barrel machining process here: singleactions.proboards.com/post/274368/threadMost people will carry six loaders or moonclips on their belt, but some of the really paranoid guys have up to eight or nine. If you start missing on steel targets it helps to know you have way more than you need.

That's some fine shooting & some very challenging courses of fire. I really miss that kind of shooting, never shot the nationals but shot the Rocky Mountain Regional Championships twice & won it both times in Ft. Collins, Colorado. I was shooting in the Stock Gun class. Bud Bond won the Limited Gun class both times.

Good shooting. Just curious, at what distance did you shoot the star with the falling plates. I shoot a fair amount of double action (mostly .44 mag m69) and was trying to visualize how far I could hit the spinning plates with one hand let alone my weak hand (my guess, on a good day -- not much past 8 or 10 yds strong hand).
Enjoyed the video.

I think the rear box was probably 20-25 yards and the closer one which required one handed shooting was likely 10 yards. They made you shoot at least one star one handed. Some people opted to do more than one because of the closer distance.
