I have a hammered Doc Barranti on order myself. I'm sitting on my hands trying to be patient. I'll order my second Barranti when I get my BFR.
Best regards,
BG

I really like Mike's Hank Sloan holsters and he did a great job on yours! A perfect gun for Oregon.

That is an AWESOME revolver. Just perfect. Also in my opinion the perfect shuck to carry it as well. Retention with the Sloan is great. I have stated before the only holster without a retention strap that I am confident carrying when on a horse.

So many excellent compliments,, that i don't think I could add much. I place Doc's work as the best I've ever handled, owned & used. I guess it's why I own a few of his shucks for my guns.
I'd call it; "Perfection in leather!"

That’s a pretty piece of leather.
Tuesday night a few minutes after 10PM I ordered one of Barranti’s in stock holsters for a new 44 Special I have coming. Immediately I thought I had missed something on the order and might not get the right leather, so I hit the contact email button and sent an email...’hey, I might have screwed up’. FIVE MINUTES later, at 10:30PM, I got a response from Doc:
“Thank you for your order! Your holster for your Colt will go out in tomorrow’s mail.
Sincerely,
Mike 'Doc' Barranti”
That was Tuesday night, and Friday at lunch it was in my mailbox. It’s a NW Mountain Companion, and it’s a fine piece of work, too. The only problem is it beat the gun home.
I don’t have to say it, but I will..it’s hard enough to find quality product, but .it’s a lot harder to find excellent service. Nice work, Mike.

Any way to post a pic from the back side? Please? Sorry for the delay in replying; my wife and I welcomed our twin daughters in July, so finding time to visit my gun-safe is a challenge! Also, the indentations in the leather hood are from the Bowen rear sight on my Nimrod; I think once the holster breaks in that contact will no longer be an issue.
