..this was the last thing I was expecting...and in .41 no less... I used to buy zinc 9mm bullets from a company back in the 1980s but they are long out of business....
I ordered some...thanks so much!

What performance would you expect out of a zinc bullet ? I'm guessing less expansion and deeper penetration but if run fast would it "zinc" a barrel?

My buddy and I have talked about casting zink... One thing... There can be no lead in your mix anywhere, or they will mot cast well
They also are more brittle, and light for size

I bought some in both .41 and 10mm.
Have not shot any of the 10mm yet but was so pleased with the .41s I ordered some more...

Looks like a long bullet for the weight should shoot well. Guess they don't need any lube ?

What temperature did you have to set the pot at to cast zinc?
