Now that Starline has started doing rifle cases... & in doing so, has started doing caliber "basic" ( unformed cases ) 223, 6.8 SPC, 6.5 Grendle, to start with... these case could be an interesting start to either custom revolver or rifle cartridges
anyone been looking at anything along these lines???
I actually went there looking for 375 Winchester cases, since I see they offer that chambering in a BFR, & my Contender in that caliber is quite the beast... but no 375 Winchester yet

It's amazing how much can change in a year. Starline does offer 375 Winchester now, but it would be handy for them to just make a 30-30 Basic.
I've toyed around with the concept of what Wildcats you could build off Starlines basic brass, but haven't actually gotten my hands on any to tinker with.
The 350 Legend is one example of what can be done with it, but the possibilities could be far greater with a few sets of Redding Type S dies.
The biggest you could probably get out of the Grendel basic would be .416". Out of the 6.8 Basic, you could probably do a 10mm/40 cal round. And I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't the 358 Legend, but I understand their reasoning...
